I am on day 5 with 25 day’s left to go. So far I feel great. I haven’t noticed any tummy issues being resolved but it may still be too early to tell. However the quality and amount of food I have been eating has improved and that has been helping me feel better physically and psychologically.
So far my meals have consisted primarily of:
- Sweet Potatoes with salsa and a boiled egg.
- Sweet Potatoes with paprika and baked.
- Sweet Potatoes mashed.
- Scrambled eggs with Sweet Potatoes and salsa.
- Broccoli and Fish.
- Salad with fish and Sweet Potatoes and Avocado.
- and last but not least apples with almond butter.
I know it’s depressing how small my ingredients list is but my cooking skills needs a revamp. My to do list right now consists of finding fun Whole 30 recipes on Pinterest and trying to replicate them. I will update you.
As for my workout for today, I had a rough night sleep and it took a lot for me to wake up. Once woken up I put my workout clothes on, found a blanket, and fell back asleep on the couch. It was depressing, and the worst part is that I have class after work and a group project to put together so I will have to stay up late in order to workout, shower and eat dinner all before an appropriate bedtime(appropriate for me that is).
…..I skip my strength training and fall asleep on the couch!
