I recently took a week off of work, and since I normally have Friday, Saturday, and Sunday’s off it resulted in being ten whole day’s off from work. I’m not sure if I even remember what I am supposed to do. Hopefully Christmas week won’t be too busy!
I woke up at 4:30 this morning to go run and it was pouring rain and the treadmill is still broken at my apartment complex so I crawled back into bed and fell asleep for another hour. Luckily my work has a gym on site so I will be able to use their treadmill after work for a four mile Fartlek run.
This week I have a total of 23 miles planned, and my goal for this week is to stay on top of my commitments and to not let the craziness of the holidays get in the way of what I am trying to achieve. Last week I had a goal to run 20 miles total all week, it’s not a lot but with finals week and being sick I put it on the back burner and set the tone for the whole week. I unfortunately have the personality where it’s all or nothing so if I wasn’t doing it 100% then I was binge eating junk food for the entire week and not exercising at all. Austin think’s I am too hard on myself when it comes to this, and I know he is right, it just still makes me feel gross and it doesn’t help that I was sick and feeling gross anyways.
My new Believe journal has been really insightful this past week. I am excited to see what I find during a sturdy week of training and eating well.
I really recommend people to buy one of these journals they really are great, and they are super cute as a bonus. This is the first time I have ever used a journal with my training and I am excited to see what it reveals and to keep it as a record of where I have been and what I have achieved.
One more thing, I wanted to let everyone know that I was accepted into the Nuunbassador team! I am really excited to be joining them and to see all the fun things they have to offer! Visit their website at nuun.com they have a lot of really good deals and they would make great stocking stuffers!
